Dear Members,

There have been a lot of changes at the Jung Society over the last few years, especially with our new website, which has now been operational for five months. We wanted to take a moment to thank you, our members, for your patience as we work through the unanticipated consequences of a new website.  We are proud of the look and feel of the website,  but there are areas that require considerable time and resources to bring on line so that they work smoothly.

We have a new page called the Members Dashboard. Once you log in you will be taken to this page.  On it you will find links to the following four features:

  • C. G. Jung Society, Seattle Library catalogue:
    • This is a searchable database of over 3100 volumes in its current form.
    • We are working to convert the current data to a WikiLibrary database.
  • Digital Media Collection
    • You can search this site by scrolling or looking for a title.
    • When you click on a selection you will be taken to a “Play” button so that you can listen to the program you have selected.
  • Current Events Calendar
    • You do not need a member username/password to register for events.
    • Browse Current Events
    • Note that there is a $5.00 off discount code for students and seniors to be used at checkout on Eventbrite.
  • Your Membership Information
    • We know that the membership log-in process has been challenging.
    • You may have noticed that previous member username/password combinations no longer work.
    • For detailed instructions on how to update your membership login password click here.
    • When your membership is up for renewal (a year from your registration date) you will need to re-register with a new account.

As always, we welcome any feedback you may have.  Please email us at office@jungseattle.net

We kicked off our new season of programming with a weekend presentation by author and speaker Carolyn Baker Ph.D. on January 20th  Carolyn Baker addressed the issues of systemic cultural and ecological collapse as a collective Rite of Passage, guiding us on how to work with the gifts of grief and uncertainty in these perilous times.  Please check out our Events Page for information about upcoming programs and links to registration and ticketing.

Our library hours have changed slightly.

  • The library at The Good Shepard Center in Room 222 is open Saturdays 12:30-3:30 pm.
  • Please contact our office manager if you need specific accommodations.

Our Jung Café community discussion group is also part of our ongoing offerings.

  • The Jung Café  meets every Saturday morning from 11:00 am-12:30 pm in the library.
  • Members enjoy connecting in person and sharing stories while discussing topics of interest to the group.

Our Jungian Wisdom School Series offers three month-long Saturday morning courses on Zoom from 9-10:30 a.m.:

  • Alchemy with Bette Joram beginning February 4th
    • Find out more about waking up to your weekend with a dose of alchemy here. Sign Up Now
  • Gnosticism with Sam Osborn beginning March 4th
  • Liminality with Terry Gibson in April 8th

We would also like to support our members by extending an invitation to use our Community Page in our upcoming newsletters. In the publication of our newsletter each season, we offer a Community Page where current members can share their Jungian-oriented work, resources, art, etc., with our larger community. Please email Community Page submissions to our office manager, Hali, at officemanager.jungseattle@gmail.com

Thank you for your ongoing patience while we continue to navigate these exciting new beginnings. We look forward to sharing our progress with you as we strive to actualize our mission to make Jungian and depth psychological thought available to the general public through workshops, seminars and other resources that help liberate the Soul and transform culture.

Yours with Great Appreciation,

The Seattle Jung Society Board and Staff
