ONLINE SEMINAR

In this seminar, Russell Lockhart will present Gleanings from the Dreamfield, a book-in-progress exploring thirteen transformative dreams—alongside synchronicities and visions—that have served as mentors, guiding his actions and deepening understanding of how such experiences from the deep psyche can offer vital insight for living meaningfully in the face of the sixth extinction.

Gleanings from the Dreamfield
June 11, 25; July 9, 23; August 6, 20 (6 sessions)
10:00 to 12:00 (the seminar will be recorded)

In this seminar I will focus on a book I am writing entitled, Gleanings from the Dreamfield. The purpose of this book is to describe thirteen or so dreams I have had over my lifetime that were life changing. I will describe the dream, how I worked with it, what changes I made because of the dream and dream work, and how the dream mentored by understanding of dreams and how to work with them.

In addition to dreams, I will also focus on synchronicities and visions and how to work with them. In my experience of the deep psyche, I find that dreams, synchronicities, and visions all function as mentors, bringing to awareness things I do not know, but things I must take into account and act on. Using my own experiences to illustrate these ways will allow me to more fully convey what dreams have taught me, why I value them, and why I think that they are the most efficacious guide to how to live as the sixth extinction unfolds.

The Archives of the Writings of Russell Lockhart, Ph.D.:

Many in the Jungian community of the Pacific Northwest are familiar with the work of Russell Lockhart, Ph.D. After serving as the Director of Training at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles and Research Clinician at the Camarillo State Hospital, he moved to the Pacific Northwest, where he became an analyst, mentor, colleague and friend to many people who were searching for heart and meaning in the midst of intense personal and cultural transformation.

What many do not know is that the influential writing in two of his books, Words as Eggs: Psyche in Language and Clinic, and Psyche Speaks: A Jungian Approach to Self and World, only scratch the surface of Russell Lockhart’s creativity. Artist, poet, publisher, novelist, and much more, Dr. Lockhart is a catalyst of the unconscious.

We deeply appreciate Dr. Lockhart’s support of the Seattle Jung Society’s mission “To Liberate Soul in Service to the Great Turning” by making this archive available only to current members of the Society.

You can find the link to the Archive under your ‘Members Dashboard’. If you are not yet a member of the C.G. Jung Society, Seattle, please go to the Membership section of our website and join us!  Enjoy the gems you will find in the Archives of Russell A. Lockhart!!
